Kenny Colbert, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, President

Kenny is responsible for leading the strategic planning activities of the organization, as well as managing the staff and directing the development of new services. He continues to practice human resources, primarily in the areas of regulatory compliance and human resources training.

Millie Aponte, Manager, Benefits Administration Services

Millie Aponte leads our benefits administration team that provides third party administration for flexible spending accounts (FSA), COBRA, HRA and HSA plans. Millie has over 13 years of experience as a benefits manager and human resources generalist with a variety of hospitality and commercial real estate organizations.

Martha collaborates with the Benefits team in handling the Flexible Spending Accounts of our clients including many of our member companies.

Beth Conner, Affirmative Action Services

Beth is responsible for analyzing and preparing the data sent from a federal contractor or subcontractor, in order to complete the analyses for an affirmative action plan. Beth also helps to educate contractors on how to gather the data and the steps to take to document their good faith efforts. She also provides assistance with the development, implementation, monitoring of affirmative action programs, and manages compliance poster orders and updates.

Lorena collaborates with the Benefits team in handling the Flexible Spending Accounts of our clients including many of our member companies.

Teresa Crook, Senior Training Coordinator

Teresa is responsible for supervising our training administration activities, including training registrations and confirmations, training materials, facility rentals, and our internal print shop. She delivers excellent customer service to ensure that every participant receives the attention and information that they need to have a wonderful experience.

Stephanie is primarily responsible for advising companies in the areas of human resources compliance and employee relations. She also conducts HR audits, specializes in handbook reviews, and is involved in compliance training for member companies and conducts HR investigations.

Cathy Graham, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, Principle Benefits Advisor

Licensed in North and South Carolina as a producer for health and life insurance, Cathy is primarily responsible for advising companies in the areas of employee benefit plans, including health & welfare and various retirement programs. Cathy also manages TEA’s in-house administration services division, handling Flexible Spending Account (FSA) plans, Health Reimbursement Accounts (HRAs), Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) and COBRA compliance services for nearly 300 companies. In addition, she teaches various classes addressing employee benefit topics.

Jen Henry, PHR, HR Project Manager

Jen is primarily responsible for administering, managing and conducting Employee Opinion and Engagement Surveys for organizations. She also provides follow up consultative services focused on increasing engagement and morale in the workplace. Jen is also responsible for our Contract HR Management services program providing HR talent for organization on a temporary or long term project basis.

Eric Hinson, Training & Room Rental Coordinator

Eric is responsible for coordinating our seminars, events & facility rentals. Our conference center is available for off-site training or business functions for groups from two to 100 individuals. He provides excellent customer service to ensure that your meetings run smoothly. He also provides administrative support for the training department and makes sure that class participants have a great experience when they attend our training.

Dawn Gates, Technical Training Specialist

With over fourteen years as a technical trainer with TEA there is no one more qualified to assist our students and vendors. Dawn joyfully works daily with our member and non-member clients to guide them toward the right computer training. She also handles all of the logistics including three separate yearly schedules for the computer training department. Dawn ensures that each and every individual receives the very best care and customer service available.

Byron Pruitt, PHR, SHRM-CP, Director, Management Training and Development

Byron provides a variety of training and consulting services to organizations to improve the performance and productivity of all levels of team members. Known for his engaging and energetic facilitation skills, Byron spends the majority of his time developing and delivering customized training solutions. Byron also conducts interactive team-building programs to enhance communication and customer service. Finally, he is a certified Harassment Prevention Consultant and provides counseling, investigation, and training services for organizations, individuals, and attorneys.

Amy Tensi, COBRA Account Specialist

Amy is responsible for managing and maintaining all of our COBRA Account Clients. She handles the day to day COBRA Administration and Customer Service as well as New Client Implementation, Client Renewals, Reporting and Billing, Open Enrollment, System/Software Training, Communications and Project Management & Development. With over 27 years in the Outsourcing and Group Health Industry, she brings an extensive background in Benefits, COBRA and Compliance.

Stephanie Vojvoda, PHR, SHRM-CP, Manager, Affirmative Action Services

Stephanie is responsible for helping a company determine whether or not they are a federal contractor or subcontractor. She provides assistance with the development, implementation and monitoring of affirmative action programs. She also assists companies who are not contractors with their applicant tracking and the education of their hiring managers. Stephanie has been preparing written affirmative action plans for clients in the Charlotte region and beyond since 2006.

Graham Wunderley, Director, Technical Training

Graham has 15 years in the field of Technical Training. He personally has over 3,000 hours of classroom led instruction under his belt since his relocation to Charlotte NC in 1998. He has managed four technical training organizations in the Charlotte market and has developed over 1,500 custom technical training classes for his organizations clients.
