Managers and leaders must use their leadership and influence to get work done through others. They must motivate and reward their team members, while also handling administrative matters. Effective leaders develop a strong combination of technical, interpersonal, and business knowledge and skills.
The Employers Association (TEA) offers many opportunities to help individuals develop their management and leadership skills. Are you a high potential individual who aspires to lead one day? Or are you a newly appointed team leader or supervisor who needs to understand and learn a new role? Are you a seasoned manager who needs to refresh or update skills for today’s workplace? We offer an ongoing series of training classes, from one-half day sessions to weekly series training, and more. Individuals can participate in our ongoing calendar of public training classes, or we can customize a training program and deliver it at the location of your choice. We train over 4,000 individuals each year. More than one-third of our classes are customized and tailored to meet the training objectives for that specific organization.
